Privacy Policy — Tic_Time

Tic_Time (“the Bot”) is owned and operated by SIN STUDIO OÜ (Registry code: 17472430, Estonia; “we”, “us”, “our”). This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Bot.

What we store

• Telegram account data: Telegram user id, optional username, language, and timezone preferences
• Event data: events you create via the Bot (title, date/time, place, comments, target Telegram chat id)
• Participation data: RSVP choices (going / maybe / declined / waitlist)
• Preferences: reminder and digest settings
• Google Calendar (optional): OAuth access and refresh tokens after you run /connect in Telegram; the Google account email; per-chat calendar id and your favorite event color; Google event ids needed to update or cancel later
• Payments: Telegram Stars / card checkout charge ids, order status, and amounts if you buy a paid plan (we do not store credit card details; card processors handle cards themselves)

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or events to third parties or advertising networks
• We do not read or store general group chat messages; in groups the Bot only processes commands, mentions, and configured triggers
• We do not use Google’s own reminder UI as the primary notification channel

Google Calendar API data

Google Calendar is optional. The Bot works in Telegram without it. Linking uses Google’s official sign-in after you run /connect in a private chat. Each person who connects writes events to their own Google Calendar.

Access

With your consent we request these Google permissions:

• View and edit events on all your calendars (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events) — used to create, update, and delete events that you confirm, edit, or cancel in Telegram, on the calendar you choose. The same permission is used to read events on your connected calendars so the Bot can warn you about overlapping times, regardless of which Telegram group or topic the plan came from. Overlap titles are shown only to you in Telegram.
• See the list of Google calendars you’re subscribed to (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly) — used so you can pick which calendar to write to (/gcal) and so the Bot can check every connected calendar for overlaps.
• openid and email — used to recognize the Google account and show which email is linked.

Use

We use this access only to provide the Calendar features you see in Telegram: copy a confirmed plan to your calendar, update or remove it when the plan changes, pick a calendar and color, and warn you about overlapping times. We do not use Google user data or derived calendar data for advertising, retargeting, credit scoring, or sale.

Store

We store OAuth tokens, the Google account email, per-chat calendar choice, your favorite event color, and Google event ids on Cloudflare (HTTPS in transit; D1 database at rest). We do not keep a copy of your full Google Calendar.

Share

We do not share Google user data with other Telegram users, advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers. A group event title that appears on your calendar is the same title already shown in the Telegram chat. Overlap warnings stay in your private chat with the Bot.

Human access

People at SIN STUDIO OÜ do not read your Google Calendar data in the ordinary course of the service. A person may look at Google user data only if you ask us to diagnose a problem you reported, if it is necessary for security (for example investigating abuse), or if the law requires it.

Disconnect and delete

Run /disconnect in a private chat to unlink Google and delete the stored tokens and Google email from our database. Events already copied to Google Calendar stay there unless you cancel the matching plan in the Bot (which deletes the matching Google event) or you delete them in Google. For a full wipe of Bot data, use /feedback or email sinstudio.ee@gmail.com.

Tic_Time's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Retention & data deletion

We retain your data only while you use the Bot. You have the right to request access to or permanent deletion of your personal data at any time. You can request a full account wipe via /feedback in the Bot or by emailing us at sinstudio.ee@gmail.com.
