Why this bot?

Regular calendars get awkward when you need a group. You jump between apps, type the time by hand, send invites, then ask in the chat: “So who’s actually coming?”

This bot does the work where you already talk — in Telegram. You create a meetup in a few seconds. The bot runs the headcount, respects seat limits, and reminds people on time.

Everything runs in Telegram. You can also link Google Calendar later — see that section.

What you can do

1. Private chat

Use the DM with the bot as a fast notepad: draft meetings, set personal reminders, link your own calendar if you want.

2. Group meetups and guest lists

How to set up the bot in a group

Add the bot to the chat and make it an administrator. Turn on Post messages and Delete messages: the bot can publish event cards and clear command stubs from the feed.

If the group uses forum topics (separate threads inside one chat), also turn on Manage topics. Then the event card appears in the thread you are writing in.

A chat administrator writes /start once in the group. The bot remembers who manages it and sends this guide in a private message.

Write /tz and your city, for example /tz Tallinn. The bot will count dates and times for this group in that city’s time zone.

If someone wants reminders before an event, or a copy in Google Calendar, they open a private chat with the bot and tap Start or write /start.

To create an event, write /event, tap ➕ Event, or start the message with @bot — that is how Telegram delivers the text to the bot.

Going / Maybe / Not going labels are set with /btns in the group: the bot continues in private chat.

In a group the bot posts a clean card with Going and Maybe. If someone can’t come, they decline in a private chat with the bot — so the group isn’t flooded with “no”.

3. Google Calendar (optional)

Google Calendar is optional. Linking uses Google’s official sign-in. You approve access once; confirmed plans can then appear on your own calendar. We ask Google to manage events you confirm in Telegram, to read every connected calendar for overlap warnings (any group or topic), and to list your calendars so you can pick one.
